National Association of Social Workers - Wisconsin Chapter
Founded in 1955, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 120,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.
NASW WI Mission Statement
To support all social work practitioners in their mission to serve and strengthen relationships within diverse populations; to promote social justice; and to enhance the dignity and worth of all people in the State of Wisconsin through the promotion of quality practice, competent practitioners, integrity and unity of the social work profession.
Membership
As a social worker, you are a skilled professional who came to the profession to make a difference to those in need.
