Welcome!

Dear NASW-WI Annual Conference attendees,

We are pleased to welcome you to NASW-WI’s 48th annual conference.

The Annual Conference is one of our signature events, and once again, we are holding a hybrid conference!  You are able to participate either in person at the Wilderness resort, Wisconsin Dells, or virtually.  The conference provides social workers the opportunity to network; share information; and to attend great workshops for professional development.  As either a virtual or in-person attendee, you will experience the same quality and breadth of offerings.  We are excited to welcome our two keynote speakers: NASW President, Mildred (Mit) Joyner, DPS, MSW, LCSW and Milwaukee Chief Municipal Court Judge Derek Mosley.

Our Town Hall meeting will examine the topic of “After Covid-19, Social Work Practice and the New Normal.”

Our Clinical, Healthcare, and Rural Mental Health luncheons will provide opportunities for networking in these areas of social work practice.

During breaks throughout the conference, we encourage you to patronize our conference exhibiters and join the scavenger hunt for an opportunity to win a special prize.  If you are not a member of NASW, please visit our Membership booth and learn about the benefits of membership.

Once again, welcome to our 2022 annual conference.  We hope you leave the conference enriched and rejuvenated! Thank you for your service to our communities, state and nation as a social worker! You are essential!!!
